Open Sound System Download

By using this page you can download an Open Sound System installation package. It can be installed both in systems that have an earlier OSS version already installed or in system without earlier OSS version. You can find the installation instructions here.

The OSS installation package comes with a FREE evaluation is automatically activated when you install OSS. This evaluation version is 100% functional. However it will sometimes play extra "engine stop" sound when an audio application stops. To get rid of these sounds you need to buy the paid version. The easiest way to do this is using the "Order permanent OSS license" function of the soundconf program (after installing the evaluation version). If you have already ordered and installed a permanent run time license it will be automatically used when you install this package.
